I'm the author of the urban fantasy romance series The Book of the Watchers, forever in my huah huah huah huah era (IYKYK), a weekend WOW player (for the Alliance), celebrate pizza Friday's, and am convinced I'll stumble across a magical creature one day. I aim to make the world feel a little more magical one book, post, interview, and adventure at a time. Welcome to the fellowship!

To me, fantasy = home. I grew up on The Hobbit, The Last Unicorn, Monster of the Month Club, Brian Froud, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, puff paints, and Lisa Frank, finding comfort and escape in creativity and other worlds. And now, I aim to make our world feel a little more magical. Whether that's writing stories, curating the best book recs, interviewing the paranormal experts, blogging about myths and monsters, or traveling to places that ignite our imagination.
Oh, and I never go anywhere without these three things: a book, a notepad, and a pen.
ABOUT ME – FANTASY LOVER TURNED FANTASY AUTHOR, COOL MOM, FOREVER DAYDREAMER, AND WHIMSICAL TRAVELER.
If you’re on the hunt for a new YA paranormal romantasy and:
+ want the dark fantasy elements of Shadowhunters
+ are into the surfer girl vibes of Blue Crush
+ love angel and demon lore set in an urban setting where the line between reality and fantasy is blurred
+ like a bit of crossover between YA/NA
+ miss the nostalgic vibes of the classics we adore—Twilight, Fallen, The Mortal Instruments, Hush Hush, Daughter of Smoke & Bone
... my debut novel, Angel of Water & Shadow, might be your thing! It’s about a surfer girl who discovers she’s half-angel and, with the help of a mysterious hunter, must invoke her untapped elemental powers before a demon siphons them out of her and uses them to enslave humanity.
If you’ve read Angel of Water & Shadow and are looking for more insight into our resident bad boy Ryder, a little heartbreak, and a whole lot of leather and angst: this scene delivers.
SPOILER ALERT: It takes place during the final battle, so fair warning: if you haven't read the book, it will contain spoilers.
Writing is solitary enough, publishing doesn't have to be too. When I decided to launch my book, it was scary, it was lonely, and I knew that at some point I wanted to apply all that I was learning and create a space that empowers and uplifts others who want to indie publish—structured less like a formal how-to and more like getting advice over coffee with a friend.

There's so much info out there on self-publishing it can be hard to parse through it all, and I know first-hand how intimidating and lonely it can feel trying to figure it out on your own. That's why I'm creating an all-inclusive guide on how to indie publish the book of your heart, with the goal to empower and uplift you along the way.
Friends don't gate keep! Keeping track of timelines, deliverables, and an editing schedule is a job in itself. Using my 10+ years of experience as a marketing producer and program manager, I've put together three easy-to-use templates to help you stay on-track and organized.
